Today is 09-09-09

10 years ago I was working in the VA hospital in San Francisco on the medical service. There was an elderly male Vet under my care who was a bit paranoid. After several days working together he asked me whose side I was on and who was I working for and I hesitated just a moment before replying and he grinned, pointed at me and nodded as if to say "Aha! I gotcha." On 09-09-99 I walked in to his room and in my cheeriest voice announced "Did you know that it's 9-9-99 today?" He snarled "Well good for you" to me and that was that. Happy 9-9-09 to you dear little Vet, wherever you are.

First smile: 5 weeks
First laugh: Today 8/1/09, 3 months old. We were playing a game while I was trying to get her to nurse "drink mama's milk" and she laughed 3 times.
Rolling over to one side: About 10 weeks. Always to the right, looking for Mama to nurse.
